   Members of the Addison High School athletes' club (the A-Club) are
suspects in the hit-and-run killing of two women -- at least in the disturbed
mind of Horace Osgood, the teacher whose wife and daughter were the
victims. Bobby Roberts and the other A-Club members are unaware of the
teacher's suspicions. That accident and the mental breakdown it caused in
Osgood are last year's news to them. These days the jocks are occupied
with sports, school, relationships, and gossip about the fastfood restaurant
robberies being committed around town by a gang of masked teenagers.
Rumors are that some Addison High students may be involved.   Teacher
Osgood considers Bobby Roberts a prime suspect in both the robberies
and the death of his wife and daughter. He's determined to help police +
detective Mike Cassidy prove it. When circumstances bring the principal
characters together in the midst of one of the fastfood robberies, everyone
is surprised by the outcome.
