Evil In Eden
by Monica Yates
Publisher: Great Reading Books
ISBN: 0-9764981-9-7
Evil in Eden tells the story of two young bullies and how
they come to find companionship - and compassion - in each other.
The bullies, Demon and Devil, find themselves having to
co-exist in the same neighborhood and play on the same turf. Their contempt
for each other leads to head on competitions including footraces and train
jumping.
In some instances, their challenges go too far and on several occasions,
they both wind up in the hospital. Despite the broken bones, however, it is
their egos that get injured the most and they vow revenge each time.
Their families are at their wit's end and their friends are becoming tired
of being used in their plots to get back at one another. After several trips
to the hospital, Demon and Devil agree to a peace treaty imposed by their
grandparents. It is then that these rivals discover that they have much more
in common than first believed and an unlikely friendship begins to unfold.
