A little magic and you can be in a whole other world. The book James and the Giant Peach was written by Ronald Dahl and illustrated by Lane Smith. It was published by Puffin Books in New York in 1996. This book led your imagination on the greatest adventure; it took you to see a world of another kind.
In James and the Giant Peach, James, the main character, accidently spills some magic crystal by an old peach tree and interesting things start to happen. The peach in the tree starts growing until it’s as big as the house. When James runs away on the peach he meets some interesting characters like Centipede, Earthworm, Spider, Ladybug, Glow-worm, and Old-Green-Grasshopper. They all take flight on the peach when they tie it to birds and they see a new world with strange things.
The interesting and creative James and the Giant Peach sets your mind to explore and wonder about new things. What would it be like to live in a giant peach with insect friends?
