A first grade teacher collected well-known proverbs.
She gave her students the first half of a proverb and
asked them to write an ending. Here's what they came up with:

*When the blind lead the blind ....get out of the way.
*If you lie down with dogs ....you will stink in the morning.
*It is always darkest before ....daylight savings time.
*If at first you don't succeed ....get new batteries.
*Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and ....you have to blow your nose.
*A miss is as good as a ....Mr.
*Children should been seen and not ....grounded.
*An idle mind is ....the best way to relax.
