A first grade
teacher collected well-known proverbs.
She gave her students the first half of a proverb and
asked them to write an ending. Here's what they came up with:

*Laugh and the world laughs
with you. Cry and ....you have to blow your nose.
*A miss is as good as a
....Mr.
*Children should been seen
and not ....grounded.
*An idle mind is ....the best
way to relax.
