The tears fall

Splash on the white marble floor

Explosions of pain sorrow and regret

They lie; maim the immaculate, it doesn’t exist anymore


Frozen kisses ice over a once warm body

Human flesh metamorphosis into an inert statue

Sweating embarrassment, breathing shame

The antithesis of an identity has begun to ensue

Trapped in time, not the pre

 

Entangled in idealism sent but the past

A young heart, aged in its misery

Acknowledgment of its nonconformity, an attempted iconoclast

 

Stare at this broken mirror

See how it looks translucent, perfect and clear

But look again; see the chards, the cracks

The eye can be deceived its an omen the end is near

 

Don’t fade away

Come back, what is there to do?

Do not eclipse and reveal the dark side of the moon

Wait, because they don’t love you like I love you….
