Exploding Tears
by Megan
Jayaraj
The tears fall
Splash on the white marble floor
Explosions of pain sorrow and regret
They lie; maim the immaculate, it doesnt exist anymore
Frozen kisses ice over a once warm body
Human flesh metamorphosis into an inert statue
Sweating embarrassment, breathing shame
The antithesis of an identity has begun to ensue
Trapped in time, not the pre
Entangled in idealism sent but the past
A young heart, aged in its misery
Acknowledgment of its nonconformity, an attempted iconoclast
Stare at this broken mirror
See how it looks translucent, perfect and clear
But look again; see the chards, the cracks
The eye can be deceived its an omen the end is near
Dont fade away
Come back, what is there to do?
Do not eclipse and reveal the dark side of the moon
Wait, because they dont love you like I love you .
